A Dream of a New Life
What I’d give to see the day
Where everything in the world went my way.
I would reveal, reveal the real me,
The one that no one else has seen.
It’s dark and malevolent; my soul is cold.
I’d make my appearance striking and bold.
No one else could tell me no.
I’d do anything and go where I wanted to go.
All my fantasies would come to life
And cause others to live in strife.
My sanity would run out the door
And leave me forevermore.
All the figments of my imagination would materialize,
And in the spite of others, mesmerize.
All the psychos, including the Clown Prince,
Would aid me in making others wince.
I’d expect this new life to be cruel and mean,
But that’s what I get for being the Clown Queen.
