On the Search for Mr. J

A pair of eyes with heavy, black makeup that is running down in front of a background with red blood spatters.

I’m bringing down the hammer!

I don’t care if it takes all night.

You mess with me and Mistah J and you’re gonna get a fight!

Tell me where you’ve taken him!

That’s what I want to know.

Tell me where he’s hidden and maybe I’ll let you go.

No? You don’t know anything?!

You’re as worthless as a fly!

BANG! I’ll watch your crimson blood flow as you die.

I’m racing around the city trying to pick up a clue.

Aha! I think I’ve found one as I take a glance at you.

You won’t tell me anything ‘til you’re at knifepoint, and then you start to say,

“They took ‘im to a warehouse down the street a little ways!”

“Thanks for the information.”

And I didn’t mean to gloat,

But I might’ve bragged a little when I slit your fragile throat.

I zoomed down to the warehouse

And I burst through the doors.

I knew this was the place

When I saw enemy thugs littering the floors.

There were a few stragglers, making more work on my part,

But I got rid of them quickly by shooting them through the heart.

I searched the lower levels and then dashed to the upper story

Fully prepared for anything that might make this trip more gory.

When I reached the top, I found out this was all planned

When I saw a lone and dark figure: Batman.

“Listen up, Bman! I’ve been searching for Mistah J all night!

I’m really pissed right now, so prepare for a fight!”

“I don’t want to fight you, Quinn. I just came to say

That I know where he is. They took him away.”

“What d’ya mean? I was sure this was where I would find him!”

“He was captured and taken back to Arkham Asylum.”

I thought for a moment. This whole situation was real strange.

“If you give yourself up now,” said Batman, “I can have the cell assignments rearranged.”

That would be wonderful!

That would be grand!

Sure, I would be locked up, but only inches away from holding his hand!

I held out my wrists, waiting to be escorted away.

My victory had been made today!

I was escorted down that familiar hallway to my new cell in a

Straitjacket, and then I caught his eyes.

“Hi, Puddin’! Ain’t this a surprise!”
