The Pleasure in Life

A patch of wheat against a field of grass with a forest in the distance at sunset.

To think something, any thought, is nothing compared to experiencing it in real life

No matter how much pleasure or fear your thoughts instill, the same in reality will intensify those emotions, pushing the limit of your endurance to the max

What happens if these feelings get the better of us?

Many events, many horrific events beyond my count will take place not only in the world, but in our hearts

It rips ourselves apart, down to the thinnest layer of our vulnerability displayed for all to see

Death, suicide, murder, rage: just mere possibilities of what could come, what will come

If this much is true, perhaps the only real enjoyment happens simply inside our heads, hidden from the world, our own escape
